Kevin Bruce

Consultant Podiatrist

Kevin qualified as a Podiatrist in 2006 and has always been involved in a musculoskeletal caseload.

After completing his MSc in Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics he progressed to roles in the NHS as musculoskeletal lead clinician until leaving the NHS as his private practice caseload grew.

He was not always set on a career in Podiatry, as he tried his luck at professional football but after being released by West Bromwich Albion at 19 years old had to find a new career path. The experiences gained whilst playing football led him toward Podiatry.

Despite football being the initial inspiration it is not only football and sports related pathology where his interest lies but also those in the general population whether sporting or otherwise. He has a strong believe in ascertaining the mechanism of an injury related to that tissues stress, with basic principles that can be applied to a professional athlete or a weekend dog walker.

To gain optimal results for the patient Kevin believes it is often most beneficial if a multi team approach is employed.

Kevin practices from four locations, The Spine Surgery at 30 Devonshire Street, Broadgate Spine and Joint clinic, Progress Centre for Health and Performance in Cambridge and First Podiatry in Golders Green. He is also Podiatrist for Northampton Saints Rugby Club.
